What is Google Stadia?

Stadia  is a Cloud-gaming Platform service developed and Operated by the Multinational tech Company Google. It is capable of streaming Video Games in 4k Resolution. It would be accessible through Google Chrome Browser on Phones, Laptops or Tablets. 

The Name Stadia , which is the Plural for Stadium , goes a long way to group Game Players remotely  over the Internet.

Cloud Gaming is the future of Gaming. Big Companies such as Nvidia, Sony and even some Suprising contenders as Walmart are rushing to catch in on the Netflix of Games.




Stadia is a cloud gaming service and requires no additional Hardware. It only requires the Coputer to have Reall Fast Internet Connection and support for browser like Google Chrome.

In terms of Hardware Google Stadia is going to run on intel’s x86 Processor clocked at 2.7 GHZ , with Advanced Vector Extensions. A Cool 10.7 Teraflops . Runing on  Solid State Drives (SSD).


However the Main cause of Concern amongst  the Games Developers has been Copyright Issues, and the Revenue genration Models.

The Limiting Factor would have to be Internet Speed. The Optimal Speed for Streaming would be 2 – 4 Mbps. It should be noted that Countries in Africa are known to have low Bandwidths.  Even in America 24 M Americans are known not to have access to Fast Internet.
